My router search has finally ended after months of researching thanks to the XR500!! I can prioritize speed with QoS easily on this router also! Its like having a concierge tell you everything thats going on with your network! Its WAAAY better than the genie interface that im used to - which I wasnt really a fan of. As soon as I set this thing up, my speeds shot up to 477mbps!! I was AMAZED at how fast my speeds were! Ive NEVER seen it pass over 200 with the X6 R8000.Īlso, having all the R-Apps on this new DUMAOS is incredible. I have about 20+ devices at home that rely on fast speeds! Thats when I came across this XR500. I was getting frustrated that my speeds were so low when I was paying for something much faster. Im supposed to have about 400mbps coming into my home, but I was getting about 99-112mbps.

The software to customize my connection specifications was easy to use and very user friendly. My gameplay drastically improved because I had a reliable, stable connection with low ping, zero packet loss, and no lag spikes. Once I hooked up my nighthawk XR500 with Duma’s geo-filter, I realized this was the missing link I was looking for. I tried upgrading and replacing everything I could to help me with secure a reliable connection. Although their equipment was their top of the line gear, I rarely had back to back matches with a good connection. I have the fastest internet package and upgraded to the best modem/router my internet provider offered. So naturally I want to be performing at my best consistently.
